About
Got A Gap is a New Zealand-born, online booking platform built to solve a simple problem: empty appointment slots in service based businesses going to waste — while many Kiwis scramble last-minute to find an appointment. Got A Gap bridges the gap by letting customers discover and snap up last-minute deals within a 7-day booking window.
For businesses, Got A Gap provides a seamless, no-frills way to fill unsold appointment times, reduce revenue leakage, and reach new customers, all without complicated integrations or heavy overhead. Vendors only pay a 7.5% fee on successful bookings; there’s no upfront cost, and listing availability is free.
What started as a passion project to support small hairdressers, salons, and wellness providers has quickly grown: with over 300 businesses signed up since February 2025, and a growing base of customers looking for affordable, spontaneous beauty bookings.
Our mission is simple: to turn “gaps” into opportunities — making last minute appointments accessible for customers, while helping Kiwi businesses maximise every available minute.

Founder Story
Clients who cancel or reschedule beauty appointments at short notice can cost small businesses thousands of dollars.
As a hairdresser in Mount Maunganui, this was very frustrating so I came up with a solution.
I launched Got A Gap in February 2025, a platform that allows businesses to list last-minute cancellations at a discount to fill empty spots within a week-long window.
Vision & Goals
Long term I'd like to see Got A Gap as the go-to marketplace for last minute appointments, as trade-me is to auctions.
