SUB is a digital automation service designed to remove the burden of user account and lifecycle management by automating the process.

Student User Bridge is our education version and automates student and teacher access across a school's education platforms, using existing data from their student management system.

System User Bridge is our application for businesses, councils and other organisations to manage their staff and other users. SUB manages their accounts across an organisation's approved platforms.

SUB is highly customisable to the setting, organisation type, and your specific needs, removing the burden of manual account creation and management.

SUB wasn't founded in a boardroom. It was born in the server room of busy New Zealand schools.

Our founder Jesse spent years as the go-to IT lead for a local K-12 school, witnessing firsthand the immense pressure on teachers and admin staff. He experienced the Sunday night dread before the Term 1 rush, the frustration of manually correcting spreadsheet errors at midnight, and the constant stream of "I can't log in" emails that derailed the first day of learning. He saw hours of precious time, time that should have been spent on teaching and learning, lost to the repetitive, error-prone task of managing thousands of student accounts across multiple systems. He knew there had to be a better way! A way to build a secure, reliable bridge between school data systems and the digital tools educators depend on. With this vision and together with his partner and co-founder Phoebe, Student User Bridge was created! Phoebe and Jesse created SUB from lived experience, shaped by a genuine understanding of the pressures and challenges you face every day. What started as a way to support our educators and schools, developed further into a non-education version called System User Bridge. With a combined background that spans the education, environmental, private and public sectors, we know what it takes to make your systems work for you. We're not just another tech vendor; we're a partner who has walked in your shoes.

Our mission is to give time back to educators. We build reliable, secure, and empathetic automation tools that handle the administrative burden of technology, so schools can focus on what matters most: teaching and learning. We aim to continue supporting a wider audience with System User Bridge; The Power of SUB, Reimagined for Business.

Co-founded by partners Phoebe and Jesse, SUB, despite being a tech company, centres around people and relationships. SUB would not have been possible with help from an array of people, organisations, schools and partners. We believe in supporting our own network, and expanding with meaningful relationships that stand the test of time and can carry on supporting each other, even outside the walls of SUB.
