About
The EnPhytoBox® is a robust, sustainable solution that fosters water resilience and creates local economic opportunities. Easily deployable and customized based on treatment needs, this wetland-in-a-box is a sustainable, natural, low carbon solution that can help treat wastewater and polluted water sources for local reuse, effectively transforming polluted water back into a precious resource. Inspired by natural wetlands, the EnPhytoBox® contains a vertical sequence of plants, water, biosorbents and natural filtration media, including zeolites and effectively utilises: – Microbial transformation – Plant stabilisation – Biosorption – Phytoremediation – Ion exchange
The EnPhytoBox® combines the power of nature with the power of technology, ensuring that it can be remotely monitored. The box contains remote IoT sensors, with data streaming to a secure gateway for stakeholders and regulators to view in a digestible format. This allows data transparency and confidence in the system. The EnPhytoBox® can also come with a customisable wooden façade which is perfect for showcasing local water stories, storyboards and cultural and artistic integration.
